The Schubert Laendler

In the times of Schubert and Beethoven, this former Austrian folk dance (remember Maria and the Captain dancing the "Sound of Music" Laendler?) was transformed into a ballroom favourite. Enjoy the easy steps and graceful arm movements, depicting living images like the "triumphal arch", "fall" or "waves of the Danube", to Franz Schubert's charming melodies!

Suitable for beginners. No need to bring a partner!
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes with soft, flexible soles, low heels - or simply thick, solid socks.
