Dance into Spring

Saturday, April 25, at

>> Restaurant Martinsschlössl, Martinstraße 18, 1180 Wien (Rittersaal)

Start: 7 pm (until approx. 11 pm)

Let's celebrate spring with a colourful mix of historical dances from the 16th to the 19th centuries: branles, longways and four-couple dances from the Baroque to the Biedermeier periods, as well as Ländler from the Biedermeier era.

If you feel like it, do come dressed in period costume; all other guests: Please choose a spring-themed accessory, even if it’s just a flower in the buttonhole – we’re the decoration!!

We’ll be dancing to live music (Birgit Größwang – recorder, Philipp Toman – baroque violin, Lucia Krommer – baroque cello). Donations (to cover room hire and music) are gratefully accepted!

>> Those who haven't danced contra dances before can join an introductory session at 6 pm (sharp) and try out what they’ve learnt straight away!

Please register by 22 April via >> E-Mail an zeitenTANZ.

Buffet: Anyone who wishes to do so can enjoy the buffet for €17 per person (Breaded pork Schnitzel with potato salad, cauliflower-vegetable patties, sweet treats). In this case, please add “Plus Buffet” to your registration.
Of course, it is also possible to order à la carte at your own expense.
